I hope you are having a good summer and getting to enjoy some quality family time. Although it gives the appearance of being pretty quiet around here, we are very busy preparing for the new school year. We do still have a few pre-school openings for September. Remember, we do have a referral credit program!
As a reminder, the annual registration fee ($65) will be included in September’s tuition. Please refer to the chart outside the director’s office if you have any question about tuition rates for 2002-2003 school year.

• Please send your child in comfortable play clothes.
• Sneakers or closed toed sandals only - Please no jellies
• Be sure your child’s cubby has a seasonally appropriate change of clothes.

We are having lots of fun this summer and we hope that you are too! The visits to the classroom are fun and enjoyable for everyone! The campers are having a great time on all their field trips!
Please watch for a Camp Survey out at the end of the summer. We would love to get your feed back on all the summer events.

Please remember to apply sunscreen to your child in the morning before school and leave a bottle marked with first and last names at school.

The Car Seat Safety Check is scheduled for Thursday, September 26th. They will be here between 3:00pm-6:00pm.

Be on the look out for sign up information to join the Kingsbridge Parent Association. They will have their first meeting of the year at Back to School Night. Hope to see you there!

Summer is almost over but there is still more fun ahead. We can’t wait to learn about space and rock to the beat with Mr. Ray.
Please remind all siblings to not play with the babies toys or in the block pit. Siblings shoes should also be covered or removed when entering the room.

Please be sure to update your child’s change of clothes. Remember that it is important to label everything. Please have your child come prepared and ready to participate in all activities.
We also have an extra special welcome for Ms. Carol. She will be back from maternity leave on August 5th.

The Turtles are having a blast this summer splishing and splashing by the pools. We are looking forward to making apple prints in a few weeks.
We just can’t wait to see Mr. Ray. Kids-er-cize is going to be so much fun. The visit from Animal Wonders is going to be great. We love to see those animals.
We want to welcome Julianna to our room and say a sad goodbye to Danny. We will miss you.

The Starfish are enjoying water play and all of their outdoor time. We all had beautiful smiles on for picture day. We had a blast on the moonwalk and look forward to listening to Mr. Ray.

Please remember to dress your child in his/her swimsuit before arriving at school and apply the first application of sunscreen.

What a marvelous summer the Manatees are having. We love having the Friday visits from the ice cream truck! What a yummy treat!
Mr. Ray will rock the Goddard School with our favorite song “ROY G BIV”. The Manatees can hardly wait for the visit from the magician and for kids-er-cize!

Please be sure your child has 2 complete sets of extra clothes, including sneakers. We will be going in the sprinkler Mon., Wed. & Fri.’s so please be sure your child wears a bathing suit to school on these days!

We have had a lot of fun going on our field trips so far. Our favorite part is the bus rides!
We are looking forward to having a “beach party picnic” toward the end of August. Be sure to watch for the details in your child’s folder.
During the week of August 19th, we will be making camp t-shirts. Please bring in a plain white shirt for your child. If you would like us to purchase one for you, please bring in $3.00. We hope you are having a great summer so far.

The Otters have really been enjoying camp. They love water play and swimming lessons. The trips have been great. Ms. Karen’s Craft Corner is always sure to have the children create something beautiful.
We are looking forward to the remainder of the summer trips. What will we learn at the supermarket or see at the 4-H fair? We can hardly wait for Mr. Ray to come and sing again. Don’t forget every Friday will bring a visit from the ice cream truck.

The summer is going by fast. Please look for the scheduled events on our weekly calendar. We are all very excited about our trips and special events.
We have a lot more exciting trips coming up and visitors coming to Goddard. We saw stars in a planetarium, singing with Mr. Ray and going to the 4-H Fair. Please look for all of our sign-up sheets!
We would like to welcome Zachary L.to our class.
Please make sure you put sun block on your child in the morning before coming to school. Also please take home any wet clothing that same evening. And last but not least, please label all your child’s clothes with their first and last names! Thank you!

We are having so much fun in the Penguin camp room. We have decorated our walls with an ocean mural, American flags, noodle suns, and sensational art pictures. When we are not swimming at the Rutgers pool, we are splishing and splashing in the sprinkler. Miss Katie always enjoys spraying us with water bottles and the hose.
We’ve learned many new games on Team Tuesdays and have especially enjoyed the delicious treats on Munchie Mondays. We had a great time at the different parks and look forward to the rest of our field trips.
We are very excited to sing along with Mr. Ray. We will present him with a poster board guitar covered in stickers. We are having a super summer and hope you are too.
