Information from SusanI always look at this time of year with mixed feelings. While I have so enjoyed watching your children grow and flourish during the “school year,” there is always the prospect of losing a few special children (and parents) as they move on to kindergarten and first grade. This year is particularly emotional as some of our kindergartners have been with us since our very first school session. They came with diapers, pacifiers and sippy cups and they leave us reading, writing in their journals and tying their own shoes! If you are leaving us for the summer, have a good one. After all this snow and rain, we certainly have earned the right for some great weather. Be safe and have fun! |
If you know anyone who is thinking about enrolling a child in our school, the best advice you can give them is to “get on the waiting list asap.” We are fortunate to have a full school and it can take a while to get in. (Also true for siblings...let us know as soon as you know). From the Director's ChairEveryone is looking forward to the summer and the end of another school year. The Pre-K and Kindergarten classes have been hard at work practicing for graduation. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 7pm in the parking lot. Bring your lawn chair and camera when you join us for this special event. |
Parent Association NewsThe Goddard Family Picnic was a big success. The children had fun bouncing in the moonwalk, riding ponies, and dancing with the DJ. The parent association takes the summer off, but be on the lookout for information in September. |
Reminder
Please make sure that all of your child’s belongings (including sunscreen) are labeled with his/her first and last name. We ask that you do not write initials. |

I would like to say a special thank you to all of the afterschool families for making the past four years an enjoyable and memorable experience. |
